Many factors go into
the player selection process of a college coach. Often it is a small
sometimes unplanned action that catches their eye. A spectacular
diving catch, the striking out of a quality hitter or the way a
player motivates fellow team mates to excel. Often it may be a recommendation
from a trusted friend, coach or peer. Much is at stake, and even
the seasoned pro often has doubts and needs some reassurance that
she/he is making the best decision for the team. When a coach is
interested in a player they often want to see more. One way to do
this is through recruiting videos.
During our recruiting visits with college coaches I was amazed at how many videos they receive (we saw piles of Videos, CD’s and DVD’s in boxes and shelves all over many of the coach’s offices). The ones that allow the coach to view a player’s mechanics without a lot of hassle get the most attention. When they need additional information about a prospect; videos are a good way of allowing the coach to take another look. We found that coaches use these primarily to view a player’s mechanics. To slow them down, reverse them and look at different angles. From the very
start of our recording session with Mr. Johnson of Combine Sports
we could tell he knows what coaches are looking for. I was very
much impressed with the multiple camera process used by Combine
Sports and the care they take in getting the shot “just
right”. If you believe your student athlete has a shot at
playing in college, then “Combine Sports” is well
worth the investment. |

Your video tape provided
an excellent review of Kyles soccer goalie skills to coaches who
would not normally get to see him play live. The video prompted
alot of calls from college coaches the tape was sent to. Kyle is

My daughter used combine
Sports for her softball skills video and it turned out great. Combine
