the 1950’s tell any knowledgeable N.J.
sports fan you are from Hunterdon County, and
they are likely to respond, “You live
in wrestling country”. Hunterdon County
has long been known as one of the hotbeds of
high school wrestling long before even today’s
wrestler’s parents were born.
To
ensure that this tradition continues the Hunterdon
Wrestling Club was formed. The Hunterdon County
wrestling community (Delaware Valley, Hunterdon
Central, North Hunterdon, Voorhees) have band
together to combine their resources so today’s
and tomorrow’s wrestlers will help carry
on that rich tradition.
